Green Tea, Black Tea, Oolong Tea...Wait, What's Herbal Tea?

Tea is the most commonly consumed beverage in the world, second only after water. And according to some tea websites, tea can be divided into 5 types -- they are green, black, oolong, pu-erh and white tea. 

Green tea is rich in catechins which as a natural antioxidant can prevent against cancer. While drinking more black tea can help lower cholesterol level. 

What's more, oolong tea is semi-oxidized, falls right in-between green and black tea in terms of processing and antioxidant contents.  Pu-erh tea containing high levels of polyphenols can speed up fat burning as well as reduce stress and heavy metal consumption.

The last one -- white tea is hand-processed using the youngest shoots of the tea plant, with no oxidation. When brewed correctly, white teas can produce low amounts of caffeine.  

However, today we're going to present you a whole new kind of tea. It is made from the infusion or decoction of herbs, spices, or other plant material in hot water and with no caffeine. It's called herbal tea.
