A Chinese New Year's Gift for You All!

Jan 10, 2020Posted by nameless

Spring Festival, also known as Chinese New Year, is the most important traditional festival in China and takes place in January or February. The festival begins on the first day of the first lunar month and ends on 15th. But celebrations start on New Year's Eve. In 2020 Chinese New Year festival falls on Jan. 25.

Spring Festival is a very important occasion for the Chinese people, and it is a time for families to be together. So no matter how far away people are, they will try their best to go home and spend the festival with their families. Chinese people do house cleaning, decoration and shopping about half month before to prepare for the New Year. On the New Year’s Eve, people have a dinner with families. There are also other traditions such as giving red envelopes, sending greetings, setting off firecrackers, watching CCTV New Year's gala, and visiting relatives.

Chinese New Year is approaching. Though it’s still very wintry, the festival marks the end of the coldest days. People welcome spring and what it brings along: planting and harvests, new beginnings and fresh starts.

We wish tremendous joy and good health for you and your family. In 2020, may you all have an amazing year ahead!
